These budgets are used to award financial aid and are published annually

>>>Candidates are not billed directly for books, supplies, food, housing and personal expenses. Instead, the cost of attendance (COA) for financial aid is based on average yearly out-of-pocket expenses, which is determined by surveying our candidates.

Why is the cost of attendance so high? I thought the program was only $900 per year!

You are probably asking yourself that very question right now, so let's break this down even more:

1.    It's the law. We are required to include all parts of financial aid shown above. The tuition is the main one that will matter for you as a candidate. The other four (books and supplies, food and housing, personal expenses, and transportation) are included because they have to be, even if the program is on-line. This allows you to complete a cost comparison between attending Reach University and other universities/colleges.

2.    Reach University provides a high-quality program. The amount you pay is meant to be affordable on purpose. We believe that every student should have an amazing teacher and becoming an amazing teacher should be affordable. This does not mean that the cost is only $900 to provide you with all of the high-quality teaching and candidate services that you see and receive. The actual cost to provide all of this, is better shown in the tuition amount listed above. We help pay for these costs through financial aid and philanthropy, as well as, federal and state grants (based on your annual FAFSA), to bring you a high quality pathway to a career, at an affordable cost!

3.    You will only pay $900 per year out-of-pocket, ($75 per month on our interest free payment plan), as long as you complete the financial aid application, which is simply filling out your annual FAFSA, and if requested, submit any required verification documents.
