Changes to the Golden State Teacher Grant
GOLDEN STATE TEACHER GRANT (GSTG):
Recent California legislation has revised the eligibility criteria for the Golden State Teacher Grant (GSTG). Effective immediately and going forward, candidates who submitted their GSTG Application on or after July 1st, 2024, are no longer eligible to receive this award. Additionally, new applicants enrolled in the intern teaching credential program are now ineligible for GSTG funds due to the recent restrictions imposed by California legislation.
