I want to apply to the Intern Teacher Credential program, but my school or district does not have a partnership or MOU with Reach. What can I do?

Dear [Superintendent/HR Lead],
I hope you are doing well. I’m writing to share that I have applied to Reach University’s Intern Teacher Credential program, a fully accredited, job-embedded pathway designed for school staff pursuing a future teaching credential while continuing to support students in the district. Reach University is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission. Alternatives in Action (AIA) is accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. AIA provides the Teacher Credentialing programs for Reach University candidates in California.
As part of the program requirements, Reach University requires a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with my employer to support my participation in the internship/apprenticeship component of the program. The agreement does not include any financial commitment or minimum participation requirements for the district. It simply formalizes the partnership while I complete my degree and field-based experience.
Reach University may already have contacted the district, or they will reach out soon regarding the MOU process. If helpful, they can also be reached directly at partnerships@reach.edu.
