How to Apply
New Reach Candidates (have never before applied/created profile)
- Go to grad.apply.reach.edu
- Click on START APPLICATION
- Graduate Application
- Create an Account (write down your user/password)
- Select Fall 2026 for application term
- Select Teacher Induction as your intended program of study
- Letters of Recommendation are not required-skip that section
Reach Intern Program Alumni:
- Click on SIGN IN (top right corner)
- Sign in to your profile by using previous email address and password
- If you forgot your password, select forgot password on the Sign In page
- Start New Application
- Select Fall 2026 for application term
- Select Teacher Induction as your intended program of study
- Letters of Recommendation are not required-skip that section
- Submit your completed application
Former TIP Candidates
- DO NOT submit a new application. Send an email to grad@reach.edu stating that you would like to return.
- Additional information will be requested to begin the Readmit process.
- The deadline to apply can be found in the Graduate Academic calendar.
NEW Reach Candidates that have completed Year 1 of an induction program elsewhere
- Follow the steps above for “New Reach Candidates”. You will have an opportunity to list your previous induction program on the application. Make sure to list:
- Name and Email address for the primary contact for the induction program. Missing information will delay the admissions process.
- Our team will contact the induction program to obtain a verification of Year 1 completion letter/certificate to confirm year 1 requirements have been met.
- We will accept letters/certificates from the induction program only (copies from candidates will not be accepted)
Next Steps After you Apply
New Reach Candidates
After you have submitted your application:
- If you meet the eligibility requirements, you will receive an email with the following information:
- Notification of Full or Conditional Admission
- A link to complete the TIP Enrollment Agreement Form by 8/21/26
- A link to register for a mandatory orientation session - register by 8/20/26
- Register for the year you are entering (e.g. Y1=Year 1, Y2=Year 2)
- A link to complete the “TIP Candidates - Circle Matching Form” - complete by deadline listed
- Reach Gmail - you will receive a separate email asking that you create a Reach Gmail account. This is a requirement, as you will use your Reach Gmail user/password to log on to Canvas, our online student submission platform. Additionally, all official Reach correspondence will go to your Reach Gmail account.
- If your Preliminary credential is pending: your preliminary credential must be issued and viewable on your CTC online record by 8/21/26.
After you have signed the Enrollment Agreement forms and have Registered for Orientation
- The following items will be sent to your Reach Gmail account:
- Craft - you will receive an invitation to create an account. This is the platform you will use to submit your mentor meeting hours.
- You will have access to your course via Canvas on the first day of the semester.
In the meantime:
- Review the Renewal Codes Screencast (if applicable).
- Renewal Code Screencast, Passcode: 1$rKLC4O
- Renewal Code Slide Deck
- Attend the orientation
- Wait for the Official Mentorship Circle Email - this is an email that will be sent to your Mentorship Circle and your Mentor. You may begin meeting with your mentor AFTER you receive this email, and not before.
