Start Your Teaching Journey: Flexible Credentialing with Job-Embedded Experience
The Intern Program, offered through Alternatives in Action, is a job-embedded teacher credentialing program. Once Intern candidates successfully complete all program and CTC requirements, they earn Preliminary Teaching Credential in the subject area of their choice. They can also add a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree to their program of study.
Candidates have the option of choosing between two pathways to obtain a
Preliminary Teaching Credential:
- Traditional two-year pathway (has a Master of Arts in Teaching option).
- Early Completion Option (ECO), an accelerated 1-year program for experienced teachers
